Funding Priorities

The College is fortunate to have the support of the LFCC Educational Foundation Inc., which raises funds for mission-critical College projects that are not funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Despite the fact that LFCC is a state-assisted institution, state funds provide less than 50 percent of the College’s budget. Consequently, private investments are essential to the future of the College and the community.  That is why we are turning to our community members.  After all, there is no greater return on investment than contributing to your community’s college and, ultimately, your community.

Following is detailed information about our funding needs. Please refer to those programs that interest you and make a tax-deductible contribution to the Foundation. For your convenience, contribution forms are located on the Contribution Forms page of the Web site.

Please note: The “total investment” is the amount needed to make each project a reality. However, funds in any amount can be contributed toward these initiatives.
