To this end, the LFCC Educational Foundation Inc. provides scholarships for qualified LFCC students. These scholarships help defray the cost of rising tuition rates, books and fees and relieve the financial constraints faced by many students.

*Qualified LFCC students are students whose official school of record is LFCC. If you are attending LFCC through a consortium agreement with another school, you are not eligible to apply for LFCC Educational Foundation scholarships. Please contact the school from which you are receiving your financial aid award for information about its scholarship opportunities.

Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is committed to reducing the number of students whose financial need prevents enrollment in our academic programs. Thanks to the generous support of area citizens, organizations and employers, the LFCC Educational Foundation Inc. offers more than 100 scholarship funds to provide assistance to full-time and part-time students in both the fall and spring semesters.

Unfortunately, the number of scholarships does not meet the full need. Many deserving individuals want to enhance their contribution to our community and the local economy, but they cannot afford the education they need to do so. With the help of a strong scholarship program, these individuals can reach their goal of receiving a college degree.

LFCC scholarships are funded by area citizens, organizations and businesses who share the College’s dedication to assisting students with financial needs and helping them reach their goal of earning a college degree. LFCC and its students owe tremendous gratitude to these donors for the opportunities they provide. Through their assistance, deserving students are able to improve themselves, gain better employment and contribute to our community and the local economy.
