Andrea Ludwick

Communication Studies and Theater Instructor

How long have you been an instructor at LFCC?
Thirty-five years.
What do you enjoy the most about being an LFCC instructor?
The thing I enjoy most about teaching at LFCC is getting to know and work with students.  They teach me as much as I teach them.
What classes do you teach at the College?
I teach Acting, Principles of Public Speaking and theatre workshop classes.
Why do you think it is important to raise scholarship funds for students?
Scholarship funds give people a chance to continue their education who might otherwise not be able to do so.
What are the biggest changes you have seen at LFCC during your tenure?
Since I came to teach at LFCC, we have gotten several new buildings and grown from 1,000 students to nearly 7,700.
What degrees do you hold?
I have a bachelor’s in English and drama, a Master’s of Arts in College Teaching and a Specialist in College Teaching from Murray State University.
